Chetan Bhagat, Nagesh Kukunoor, Vijender Singh, Gul Panag and Rajeev Khandelwal to be a part of an adventure series on TV.
Chetan Bhagat, film director Nagesh Kukunoor, Boxing Olympian Vijender Singh and actors Gul Panag and actor Rajeev Khandelwal will be a part of an all-new adventure travelogue ” MyEndeavour alterrain ” on The National Geographic Channel. The five-part series, spanning an hour each for five days, will feature the five personalities and their unique journeys.
The show will air sometime in May. While Nagesh Kukunoor’s ultimate endeavour is to complete an unfinished road-trip he had undertaken in 1995 and explore the journey as a concept for one of his next films, Vijender Singh’s plans to drive through Rajasthan till the Indo-Pak Border Post and sing for the Jawans posted there. Chetan Bhagat would drive to Junagarh in Gujarat to meet India’s only African tribe.
Being a serial road tripper and traveller, Gul Panag will go on a personal endeavour to complete an unfinished business of exploring coastal Karnataka with a drive from Goa to Hampi. “It is a journey for the five of us. It is about a personal motive. For example, my agenda is to visit Arunachal Pradesh, where I had gone as a child. It was always a dream to undertake the journey again, but somehow I never found the time. I will be driving from Dibrugarh to Pasighat. We will shoot in May. It is a difficult and challenging terrain and I am super excited to be a part of the show. I will come back from a film shoot in Sri Lanka and head straight for Arunachal,” said a visibly happy Rajeev Khandelwal.
