Who said you need to change up your swimsuit for every beach vacation!

Fashion has become faster than ever in the age we live in. We purchase new clothing for almost every occasion we attend and when a trend comes around, we cannot resist adding it to the cart. Not just our needs but the very quality of fashion these days almost demands a fast cycle of clothing to come and go in one’s wardrobe. That isn’t the case for everybody though. Some still own cherished items of clothing that have lasted for years and will continue to stay on and on. That’s definitely the case with Gul Panag. In an Instagram photo she posted last month,

Gul is seen in a throwback photo wearing a black broad strap swimsuit. With black trimming over a white neckline and high cut legs, she looked divine. What’s even more interesting is the story behind it. Gul tells it all in her caption, saying, “That swimsuit. The first time it made an appearance. At a photo shoot before the Miss India pageant. This is December 1998. And the swimsuit is @marksandspencer, bought in London in the summer of 1998. #throwback”.

But it isn’t simply the picture of a stunning photo that Gul wore over two decades ago. It has even found its way to her present wardrobe. She also posted a picture of herself wearing the very same swimsuit back in 2021 when in Maldives on a family vacation.

In 2019, Gul showed us how the very long-lasting and chic swimsuit has journeyed with her through life. She posted photos of herself in the beach look when she went scuba diving in 1999 as well as in 2019.
