Like a lot of Bollywood actors, Gul prioritizes her health over everything and leads a regimented lifestyle. The actress herself owns a fitness start-up and is a health activist. Interestingly, she is a half-marathon runner and an avid biker.

From starting her career with Dhoop in 2003 to winning accolades for her role in The Family Man, Gul Panag has just gone from strength to strength. Although she hasn’t tasted commercial success, she has been critically applauded for her work. Apart from being an actress and having a career in politics, the 41-year-old is a complete fitness enthusiast. Like a lot of Bollywood actors, Gul prioritizes her health over everything and leads a regimented lifestyle. She owns a fitness start-up and is a health activist. Interestingly, she is a half-marathon runner and an avid biker too.

Hence, when we had an exclusive chat with Gul Panag, we asked her about the secret to her fit and fab body. Responding to the same, she stated, “My fitness mantra is adaptability. I keep in mind that I need to do 45 minutes of intense physical activity a day, whether I am travelling or whether it is raining, so I adapt my fitness plan according to the situation.” Gul further pointed out that it is extremely important to have an active lifestyle and it is necessary for us to look after our eating habits.

Further, in conversation with us, Gul said that it is okay to cheat on our diets once in a while. “Fitness doesn’t mean you shun out your cravings. It’s perfectly fine to give in once in a while. But keep it to once in a while, and plan well in advance,” she said. Before concluding her chat, the Student Of The Year actress listed down a few health tips for people.

She added, “Stop thinking about what others think and placing unnecessary barriers in your heads. Remove all these thoughts from your head and admire those who are trying to make themselves healthier. Never skip exercise or give excuses as only a small space is required to workout. And lastly, indulge in a cheat meal once in a while but be aware of your indulgence as exercise won’t absolve you of the sins of overeating.”
