It is for the first time that the noted actor of Bollywood Gul Pang will be participating at the International film fest for her movie ‘Fatso’ by Pritish Nandy Communication. The entire team of ‘Fatso’ was delighted to hear that their film is invited at the 8th Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) on April 20 to 25 April.

Mainly IFFLA is a non profitable organization whose intention is to highlight Indian cinema and culture by showcasing the films and honoring entertainment industry performers. So that Indian films receive greater response by highlighting the works of business executives and promoting the diverse perspectives of the Indian Diaspora.

The festival which is to be held at its headquarter in ArcLight Hollywood, Los Angeles will have Jury and Audience Choice Prizes award distribution for Best Feature, Documentary and Short film.

PNC chairman and producer of the film Pritish Nandy is happy that his film ‘Fatso’ is going for its second big outing after New York, he states, “Fatso is funny, romantic, and magical. Rajat Kapoor is at his finest as a director, in the charming tradition of Raghu Romeo, Mixed Doubles and Mithya. Comedies rarely make it to top rung international film festivals. We are proud therefore that Fatso is going for its second big outing after New York.This time, in LA.”

This film is a romantic comedy directed by Rajat Kapoor that features Gul Panag, Ranvir Shourey and Purab Kohli in the lead.

After ‘Rann’ success Gul Panag seems to be accelerating to a greater limelight.
