Gul Panag, who has always done out of the box films claims that she doesn’t like to be a commodity in films and she needs other women to relate to the roles she plays.
On being asked about her decision to play simple, smart and close to life characters, she said, “I don’t like to be a commodity, who will dance around.”
“I like to go back home answering how I felt about my work. Other women should relate. I have immense respect for people, who can do that. However, I will not play roles which I cannot identity and I don’t mind doing films which I like,” added Gul.

While talking about success, Gul claims that she doesn’t get bothered by critical acclaim or box office results. “I don’t look for either of two. People should like what I do and that’s important,” concluded Gul.
