Polaris India is a subsidiary of Polaris Industries –world’s leader in off-road segment and is majorly known for its all terrain vehicles. At the 2012 Auto Expo the company launched two unique products in the Indian market – Sportsman 90 and RANGER RZR 170.
These two vehicles come from the Polaris Youth Powersports segment which is targeted at the young generation who are sports enthusiasts and love going off-road.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director, Polaris India said, “We have seen a huge potential for youth Powersports in the Indian market. Polaris Youth Powersports products will address the need for quality youth product and will take adventure riding to an all new level for young auto enthusiasts. The Youth segment will provide a golden opportunity to extreme sports lovers to experience a new route of excitement and fun.”
Making the occasion more special was the presence of Bollywood actress Gul Panag. Beside the two launches the company showcased a wide range of vehicles including All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), RANGERs, Snowmobiles, Motorcycles, Off-Road Ambulance, Off-Road Fire tender, Off-Road Defense vehicles and Youth Powersports Vehicles.
