June 06, 2009, (Sawf News) – Bollywood actress Gul Panag was involved in a minor accident on Saturday, June 6, when the Enfield 350 Electra 5S she was riding with her brother skidded on a patch of oil in Mumbai.
The actress and her brother are unhurt though understandably shaken.
“How the mighty fall! Had an oil skid riding the Enfield with brother -pillion. Alive and in one piece,” Gul tweeted around 7 PM.
A bus was right behind the actress when she fell. The motorcycle’s leg guard saved her from injuries.
Panag, loves motorcycles and plans to acquire a Harley next year.
She is currently filming for Prakash Jha’s Next. Though tight lipped about the film, she recently tweeted her delight at getting to ride an Enfield Thunderbird in a scene.
An Army officer’s daughter hailing from Mahadian in Punjab, Gul is a fitness freak.
Her regimen includes regular yoga and gym during the week and a 15 km run every Sunday. It “keeps me in shape to run the annual marathons,” she says.
Saturday was a day off for the 30-year-old actress who met up with her brother for what she describes as “sibling revelry.”
