A few days ago, it was reported that Preity Zinta accidentally got locked inside a bathroom at Delhi airport. This time it is Gul Panag, who got locked inside the bathroom of the Shatabdi Express.
The incident took place on Wednesday when the actress was on her way to Chandigarh from Delhi. Recalling the incident, Gul says, “When the train halted at one of the stations, I went to the washroom and locked the door.
After freshening up I tried to unlock the door but it refused to budge as it was a rusted latch. As soon as the train started moving, it got all the more difficult to unlock the door because of the train’s speed.”
The actress was stuck in the washroom for almost 10-15 minutes. She adds, “It was only when the train slowed down that I managed to unlock the latch using all my strength.”
Didn’t the actress panic or try calling out to someone? “I love adventure,” she quips.
Will she ever board the Shatabdi Express again? She says, “No complaints. Shatabdi is my favourite train. I board it twice a month from Delhi to Chandigarh and back.”
